Continuum Season 4, getting married and Directing my first Feature.

Hello 🙂

It’s been a while since my last post.  What a beautiful and busy summer! I Directed a movie called Writing Kim, I got married in June and now Season 4 of Continuum is about to air!

Yes I got married:) And of course I’m going to share a couple photos!

The movie I Directed won’t be out for some time. But when it is released I will be sure to share the news with you all!  Here’s what I can tell you: I worked with some good friends of mine who run 8 Monkeys Productions. They approached me with the script, a small budget and a dream. We brought a small group of talented people on board and shot a movie in 14 days! It was crazy, but I had a smile on my face the entire time. If you can work a 12 hour day and still have a smile on your face, it’s a good sign that you enjoy what you are doing!

Season 4 of Continuum. The end of a great 4 years I must say!  I’ve grown so much in this short time, and you know what? “The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know.” A. Einstein

One thing is certain! I love what I do. I love the challenge. The frustration. The growth. The wins and the celebrations.  When people ask me why I’m an actress, I say it’s because I want to know myself. To be an actor is to constantly search within yourself. To ask the hard questions. It’s an introspective journey that has no end. I suppose IF I can understand myself better, I can begin to try and understand the human journey.

That’s it folks. I will leave you with this cool Continuum Promo of Season 4. I hope you will join me on twitter @Luvia_Petersen as i will be live tweeting the premier. 9pm et/pt on Showcase.

  1. I am unashamed to say that I developed a bit of a crush on Garza. What a badass! I was pleased that her role was carried through the end of Continuum, which was one of the most intelligent and satisfying sci-fi shows in recent memory. Thanks for your work, and congrats on your wedding. You and your partner look so happy and beautiful.

  2. But.. meh! I was supposed to marry u one day!♡ well I guess I’m still happy for you! 😉 make sure she treats u well!♡ can’t wait for season 4 of continuum! Long hugs from your admirer Ina ♡

  3. Hi 🙂 Thanks for reading and for all the wonderful questions. I don’t have time to answer them all so I will pick one… let’s see… what have I learned most about myself since becoming an actor?…. I would have to say that I’ve learned i need to continually push myself through my fears. Otherwise I won’t pursue my dreams! Sometimes I have to push really really hard! haha… but it’s always worth it in the end! Thanks again and have a great day!

  4. Congratulations on your marriage. The pictures you shared are lovely. Looks like it was a gloriously beautiful day. I wish both of you a long and wonderful life together.

I can’t wait for season 4 of Continuum…I know I’ll have a wee bit longer to wait here in Scotland to see it but I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait…the promo looks brilliant, Garza has a gun, that pleases me greatly 😍 Looking forward to seeing your movie…I’m sure that too will be worth the wait.

I like why you enjoy acting so much. What’s the biggest thing you have learned about yourself since becoming an actor? Have you ever questioned being an actor or ever thought about giving it up? Did being an actor help while directing the movie? Will we see anything directed by and starring you in the future? How about writing, is there anything in the works? Apologies for the multiple questions, I’m a big fan and somewhat nosey too ☺️😜

Now I have the dilemma of the live tweeting, since I’ll have a wait for the premier do I want to be on Twitter and probably get spoiled or do I avoid it but miss the chance of reading your live tweets??? Oh the agony of deciding 😢😜 Knowing my luck I’ll probably be working 😂😂

Thank you for the brilliant update ❤️

  5. Nice pictures. Congratulations! Boy you”re a bad one. You drove a nail into that girl’s foot. Looks real! Hope it’s not!
